W3L Summer Fever – Pettycur Bay, July 17th

This Sunday (July 17th) the World Wide Wrestling League (W3L) presents the biggest wrestling event of the Summer as this years ‘Summer Fever’ showdown takes place on July 17th from Pettycur Bay Holiday Park in Kinghorn, Fife.

Unforeseen events including W3L Champion James Scott being unavailable due to an international opportunity have caused us to revamp the line up – we feel the replacements to the card that we have made more than make up for the disappointment of scheduled matches not taking place.

Topping the bill will be the W3L debut of Mark Haskins, fresh off a stint in Japan and top American outfit TNA Impact Wrestling. Haskins opponent on July 17th will be none other than “Bad Boy“ Liam Thomson. Haskins is well respected across the wrestling world and Thomson is one of the most respected athletes in Scottish wrestling. This is an encounter you will not want to miss.

Also on the card July 17th –

The W3L Tag Team Championships will be defended as Fife’s own reigning Tag Team Champions the Disco Biscuits (Freddy Da Funk and Magic Mackie) face their latest challenge. Adam Shame is set to team with a partner yet to be named by management to challenge the Biscuits for the titles. Shame is reportedly not happy with the decision to withhold the name of his partner and is even more concerned at a claim from management that fans will be “very pleased” with the announcement.

In addition to championships being defended, the event at Pettycur will also see an old score settled as nearby Kirkcaldy’s Mike Musso faces the man who defeated him at Pettycur Bay one year ago for the championship, Damian O’Connor. The rivalry between these two former champions will reach another level at Pettycur Bay on July 17th as they compete in a “falls count anywhere” match.

Scott Renwick also makes a return to W3L action on July 17th against another mystery man Chojin Aztecka. The mystery about Chojin is that he has stated he will not reveal where he hails from until he has “made his first impact”.

All this and more will make July 17th at Pettycur Bay a wrestling event not to be missed!

Doors open for the event at 1.30PM with the first match taking place at 2PM. Tickets are on sale from the venue and to reserve online @ http://www.W3Lwrestling.com priced £10 (adult), £8 (child) and £30 for a family of 4.
