A highlight of this past weekend was certainly W3L Remedy that was held at Buckhaven Community Centre in Fife.
The W3L Heavyweight Championship was to be decided in a ladder match as Nathan Reynolds defended against Mike Musso in what became a viscous ladder match. Musso hit his firemans carry DDT onto a ladder outside the ring but we will never know if this was enough to keep the champion down as the suspended Euan G Mackie met Musso on top of the ladders and sprayed the challenger in the eyes with mysterious green mist. Nathan Reynolds ultimately slammed Mackie from the top of the ladder before retrieving and thus retaining the W3L Championship.
Leah Owens also made history at Remedy by becoming the second lady in W3L history to win the W3L Womens Championship for a third time after defeating Sara in a closely matched contest.
The Tag Team titles where retained by the Contingency Plan under dubious circumstances as the referee was lead to believe Jason Reed had used a steel chair!
Also on the card El Technico defeated Johnny Lions and Prince Assad fell victim to his own open challenge as he was defeated by “Big” Dave Jeremi.
